The most significant issue was the lack of proper information regarding the disaster scene. The coordination of NCDM and line ministries were and are still a challenge. In addition, there were problems with limitation of knowledge, skills and internal coordination of NCMD officials including the NCDM unuse of the importatnt documents that have been developed by the NCDM. |

Due to the nature of the project, the final project report did not do an analysis on gender targeting issues nor was the project intended to have these outputs. |

The NCDM has the primary role of coordinating and communicating among all stakeholders; it also showed high level of commitment of ownership despite limited national resources and financial budget. However, it still had limited capacity to have national ownership on the National Contingency Plan. |

The United Nations Disaster Management Committee (UNDMT) arranged a meeting with Non Governmental Organizations, European Union, United States Agency for International Development, and Asian Development Bank to exchange and update information. Lack of reliable and accountable information regarding the disaster scene led to misuse of humanitarian assistance. To increase coherence and harmonization among stakeholders, the Humanitarian Response Forum was held; this network enable the UNRC to coordinate and contact NCDM, line ministries, SCOs, development partners and other stakeholders. |
