Abstract
This overall study is aim to investigate the applicability of community-driven development in Cambodia rural area. In the context of Cambodia development, sharing benefits is the root cause of initiating the prosperous development of many rural communities. This study is striving to test to investigate how well Cambodia’s applying community-driven development, to analyze the contribution of community-driven development in reducing the development gap between urban and rural area; to identify benefits of community-driven development for rural community.
Reflecting the fact of the development program, many of the development programs have been implemented well in reducing the poverty and gap between the urban and the rural one. The outcome of this research is that the benefits sharing for CDD to local community is in the wide range and all of those outcome fairly contribute to the narrow down the development gab of the urban and the rural one.
